For a Muslim, the testimony of faith is the affirmation that there is no god other than Allah and that Muhammad ﷺ is His servant and messenger. This testimony is second nature to most Muslims; yet it is disappointing to note that many of them are not aware of the seven conditions attached to it.

Realizing an urgent need to educate reverts as well as veteran Muslims, the author has detailed the conditions in this book. These include: knowledge, certainty, truth, compliance, acceptance, sincerity, and loving and hating for the sake of Allah. Each condition has been explained individually along with supporting evidence from the Qur’an and Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Separate chapters have also been devoted to the meaning, importance, and implications of the testimony of faith.
